I graduated from Keystone College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. I worked in the school's IT department throughout my three years as a student as well.
After Keystone, I worked at Borton-Lawson in their IT department as an IT Intern, Technician, and Application Programmer over my 4 years of employment. I worked on a number of projects, including the virtualization and upgrade of the Deltek Vision system, deployment of Skype for Business utilizing an on-premises solution, and an upgrade to the company Intranet. I was also responsible for modifying and creating custom SQL-based reports for Deltek Vision and general hardware / software support.
After working at Borton-Lawson, I worked at Wayfair as an IT Support Engineer. I worked heavily with SQL Server Management Studio and utilized it to research and troubleshoot issues within the warehouse management system as they were reported by end users. I also supported warehouse devices, such as thermal printers and RF guns.
Today, I work as a Developer at the United States Postal Service. I currently work with a product tracking and reporting solution and develop using Oracle PL/SQL.
I've always loved technology. From video games to drones, everything about it is cool to me. Working as a developer is my dream job, and I really enjoy the work I do everyday.
There are two things I always feel are important when looking at a job - enjoying what you do and also the people you do it with. Both are keys to not only enjoying a job, but also being successful at it.
